Account Resolution Representative - SESAC (Nashville)

Job Summary
Contact assigned delinquent accounts via telephone, email, and written correspondence to determine reasons for non-payment and address licensee questions regarding license value. Provide required documentation to substantiate balances and work out mutually agreeable terms to resolve delinquencies. Locate new contact information using internet searches and official registries when necessary, and update account details for ownership changes. Perform administrative duties and manage assigned projects to support account resolution and customer retention. This hybrid role requires commuting to the Nashville office three days a week.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to solve problems and adept at conflict resolution
- Ability to stay organized and motivated
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage workload
- Ability to conduct basic account reconciliations
- This is a hybrid role that will require you to commute to our Nashville office a minimum of three days a week
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Oracle Advanced Collections, and Salesforce
- General understanding of U.S. Copyright Law and SESAC license agreements
