Job Summary

Account Resolution Coordinator for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta seeks a detail-oriented billing professional to meet daily billing of claims to third-party insurers, prepare and submit final and secondary claims, and perform routine follow-up on unpaid claims. Responsibilities include identifying payor trends related to zero payment and denials, collaborating with lead collectors and patient accounts teams, ensuring timely submission of claims, documenting all communications with payors, and meeting department goals. Requires familiarity with UB04/HCFA 1500, knowledge of Medicaid/Blue Cross Blue Shield and other payors, and experience with hospital billing workflows. Preferred experience with Epic Resolute, Dentrix Dental, Clearinghouse, or similar systems; strong customer service and data-entry skills; ability to work with billing software and generate efficient denials-prevention actions. Required Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in insurance billing or collections
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Medicaid, Managed Care, Blue Cross Blue Shield, POs, and self-pay
  • Excellent telephone and written communication skills
  • Familiar with medical terminology and coding
  • Ability to type 45 words per minute
  • Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, and billing software
