Job Summary
The Account Representative acts as a primary liaison between clients billing medical insurance claims electronically and the company, Quadax. Responsibilities include assisting clients with the setup and functionality of Quadax's electronic claims processing software, training staff on product features, identifying billing trends, and contacting insurance payers to resolve claim issues. Candidates should possess investigative skills, multitasking abilities, and knowledge of medical billing or EDI processes. Public speaking skills and the ability to learn different departmental functions are required. This position entails approximately 30%-50% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Detail oriented and good investigative and software troubleshooting skills
- Must be able to multitask
- Knowledge of medical billing practices or Electronic Data Interchange processes
- Ability to maintain a professional relationship with multiple clients while being personable
- Must be “jack of all trades” and be able to learn essential functions of the many different departments and teams
- Sufficient public speaking skills
- Must be willing to travel by automobile/air approximately 30%-50% of the time
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
