Job Summary
Drive revenue growth by converting competitors' business and expanding medium-sized accounts into large ones. Generate new leads through networking, cold calling, and directory research while maintaining customer satisfaction via face-to-face interactions and expectation management. Prepare customized quotes, deliver effective sales presentations, and assist with on-site troubleshooting. Coordinate vendor resources to support sales efforts and build strong customer relationships. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to travel, and potential on-call availability for nights or weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 0 to 2 years of experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of industrial products: power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient understanding of key sales principles and best practices
- Ability to influence customers, while maintaining healthy relationships
- Ability to take initiative and work with limited direction
- Ability to multitask and manage time well
- Ability to use Microsoft Office
- Travel required
- On-call nights or weekends, depending on need
- Valid driver's license
