Job Summary
Account Representative I drives revenue growth by expanding the book of business—converting competitors' clients and growing assigned medium-sized accounts into large accounts. Responsible for generating new leads via networking and cold calling, maintaining face-to-face relationships with customers, understanding complex customer requirements for customized quoting, delivering effective sales presentations, ensuring technical requirements are met, and assisting with on-site troubleshooting. Coordinates with vendor resources to support sales and maintain customer satisfaction. Travel is required. Typical education is a bachelor's degree with 0-2 years of experience; strong knowledge of industrial products (power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic) and excellent communication skills are expected.
