Job Summary
Interact with factoring clients to build strong relationships and offer guidance on prospective debtors and receivable solutions. Monitor and identify trends in activity, mitigate risk and discrepancies on the portfolio, and promptly address issues. Review receivable aging assessments for each client, analyze financials, and apply credit judgment to evaluate risks. Prepare comprehensive credit proposals, manage reserve accounts, and ensure accurate customer records and documentation. Collaborate with credit and operations teams to ensure credit quality and optimal collateral performance. Consult with leadership on account matters and attend meetings to contribute to decisions impacting the factoring unit.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- Two years of relevant work experience
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Proven analytical skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Basic financial acumen
- Familiarity with accounts receivable concepts
- Ability to manage numerous business clients
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to learn factoring operating system technology
