Job Summary
Handle customer calls to place orders for the company's entire product line and develop formal quotes in response to inquiries. Manage pricing, expediting, and delivery scheduling while utilizing the mainframe computer system to access information and input data. Process returns, credits, and adjustments, and purchase products and services when needed. Use problem-solving skills to address difficult customer concerns with tact and good judgment. Work Mon–Fri from 8:00am to 5:00pm in an office environment, with occasional warehouse exposure wearing required PPE. This role involves acquiring new business in collaboration with Account Managers and management.
Required Qualifications
- Inside sales and/or customer service experience
- Industrial sales experience
- Good communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Professional telephone skills
- Solid computer skills
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Word
- Experience in the use of Excel

- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience in the steel industry
