Job Summary
Coordinate with internal teams, patients, insurance representatives, and external partners to gather information and resolve outstanding issues across Home Health, Hospice, and Physician Services. Manage account-related communications, research and resolve outstanding items, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure follow-up is completed in a timely manner. Work Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Bingham Farms, MI. This role supports the financial recovery process that ensures accurate, timely resolution of patient and payer accounts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative/clerical setting
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Valid automobile insurance coverage
- Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with staff
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills
- Organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to operate computer equipment
- Ability to operate Excel
- Ability to operate Outlook
- Ability to operate Word
- Ability to operate Fax machines
- Ability to operate photocopy machines
Desired Qualifications
- Associate Degree preferred
