Job Summary
Account Receivable Site Specialist at Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board in Hampton, VA, responsible for maintaining timely, accurate accounts receivable in an automated system, strengthening collections, updating client and payer information, auditing client accounts, verifying Medicaid/Medicare/third-party coverage, confirming employment and income status, reviewing co-payments and authorizations, and communicating billing practices with clients, clinic staff, vendors, and insurance representatives.
Required Qualifications
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- Two (2) years of experience in accounts receivable collections or the healthcare arena, including at least one (1) year working in an automated computer-based system.
