Job Summary
Account Operations Specialist (Assistant Vice President) within Wealth Custody and Clearing focused on onboarding and lifecycle servicing of client accounts across introducing broker-dealer platforms. Responsible for review, approval, and ongoing maintenance of accounts to ensure regulatory compliance and operational accuracy. Key duties include approving new accounts, conducting supervisory review as a Series 24 principal, executing ownership and attribute updates, managing complex structures (trusts, estates, corporate entities, partnerships, multi-party accounts), handling lifecycle events (death processing, estate distributions, ownership transitions), ensuring proper capture of beneficial ownership and tax documentation, supporting inbound advisor requests, identifying risk and documentation gaps, assisting with ACATS/non-ACATS transfers, and contributing to scalable workflows using Salesforce and AI-enabled tooling. The role requires collaboration with Client Service and advisors, the ability to manage non-standard scenarios, and a trajectory toward leadership within onboarding and maintenance functions; 3+ years of experience in related domains and a bachelor’s degree are expected, with an active Series 24 license and experience in broker-dealer or custody operations.
Required Qualifications
- Active Series 24 license (required)
- 3+ years of experience in broker-dealer, custody, or wealth operations, with a focus on account lifecycle management
- Undergraduate degree
- Experience supporting onboarding, review, and lifecycle servicing of complex accounts (trusts, estates, corporate entities, partnerships, multi-party accounts)
- Solid understanding of account approval and maintenance workflows, beneficial ownership and control of person requirements, AML/KYC and CIP frameworks, tax documentation and withholding considerations
- Experience supporting advisor-facing servicing models with effective communication and problem-solving skills
