Job Summary

Account Manager for RTI Connext software and services in the West and Midwest US. Drive commercial software sales to product teams in industries such as Healthcare, Industrial Automation, Energy, and Robotics. Own the full sales process from lead management to closing, retention, and upsell, develop new business in the territory, build relationships with decision makers, coordinate with Field Application Engineer and Solutions teams to tailor software solutions, and collaborate with Marketing on events. Remote work option with travel within the territory; strong emphasis on consultative, solutions-oriented selling and achieving quotas. BS or higher in engineering or CS preferred; 5+ years in software sales; 3+ years selling to engineering teams; US Citizenship required.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software sales to R&D/engineering teams
  • 3+ years selling high-end technology software solutions
  • BS or higher in engineering or computer science is preferred
  • US Citizenship required
  • Experience with prospecting, lead follow-up, qualification and targeted account selling in person and by phone
  • Experience using Salesforce.com and Gong or other conversation intelligence tools is highly desirable
  • Ability to travel within the territory
