Job Summary
Primarily responsible for profitably growing sales in assigned customer base and achieving sales growth targets. The role includes prospecting for new accounts, increasing cross-sell opportunities, and driving customer success. Candidates must have the ability to maintain and submit required sales reports, conduct face-to-face business interactions, and develop relationships with key decision-makers. Expected to work independently on complex problems, while also providing guidance or training to junior level personnel. Overnight travel is less than 10% of the time.
Required Qualifications
- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline
- Generally 2-5 years of experience in a related field
- OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in a related field
- Certification is required in some areas
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Miller Heiman’s Strategic Selling and Large Account Management Process concepts
- Prior experience in telesales
- Possession of proven phone sales skills
- Knowledge in company product line
