Job Summary
Account Manager in Veolia’s Chemical Solutions and Monitoring division analyzes and optimizes chemical treatment programs for cooling, boiler, and wastewater applications, serves as a technical advisor through sample testing and technical service reports, and drives revenue growth via value-creation plans, business reviews, and strategic customer partnerships while upholding safety standards and sustainability commitments. The role requires strong technical curiosity, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to manage a sales funnel, and willingness to travel; prior experience in chemical water treatment and consultative solution development is highly valued.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science or Engineering/Technologist (Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical), preferred. Or minimum 8+ years of direct experience in the field and water treatment industry will also qualify, high school education is required.
- Chemical water & process treatment experience
- 3+ years of technical sales experience with demonstrated success in account management, revenue growth, and customer relationship building
- Experience with consultative selling and technical solution development
- A full valid driver's license and willingness to travel (a learner’s permit or G1/G2 class will not qualify)
