Account Manager - Water Treatment Chemicals

Job Summary
Analyze, build, and optimize chemical treatment programs for cooling water, boiler water, wastewater, and membrane applications while conducting sample testing and delivering technical service reports. Execute account management excellence programs including service plans, value generation plans, and business reviews to demonstrate measurable customer value and drive water and energy sustainability. Meet annual revenue targets by managing margin reviews, price escalations, and commercial negotiations to secure new, recurring, profitable business opportunities. Maintain a healthy sales funnel, interpret customer data to recommend improvement initiatives, and work safely following all EHS policies. Requires a bachelor's degree in relevant science or engineering, or equivalent experience, with proficiency in mathematical calculations and chemistry concepts. Based in Louisville, KY, Lexington, KY, Cincinnati, OH, or Dayton, OH.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent, in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science or Engineering/Technologist (Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical)
- minimum 8+ years of direct experience in the field and water treatment industry
- high school education
- Chemical water & process treatment experience
- 4+ years of technical sales experience with demonstrated success in account management, revenue growth, and customer relationship building
- Experience with consultative selling and technical solution development
- A full valid driver's license
- willingness to travel
