Job Summary
Account Manager responsible for managing key customer accounts, overseeing sales activities, and developing strategic goals for long-term client relationships. Acts as the liaison between Desert Lumber/US LBM and customers, prepares price quotations and delivery/service terms, analyzes historical sales data to drive margin improvement, and collaborates with the sales team to grow opportunities within territory. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field and proven account-management/sales experience; strong negotiation, communication, and estimating skills (including ability to estimate materials from blueprints) and experience with accounts receivable systems. Must be proficient with calculators and basic accounting principles; DL preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field required
- Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, or relevant role required
