Job Summary
Account Manager for the ASD abrasive product portfolio in 3M's Safety & Industrial Business Group in Wuhan, China. Promote, introduce and sell the designated range of abrasive products to end users with product demonstrations to meet sales targets; build knowledge of the product range and competitors; identify and manage key accounts and develop new business; maintain relationships with distributors, key accounts and end users; update CRM with sales visits, opportunities and activities; train distributor sales staff; continuously improve skills related to market, products, applications, selling, and administration. Requires Bachelor degree or above (Polymer Materials/Chemical preferred), 2-3 years of sales experience in a global company, fluent English, proven Adhesives/Tapes or Industrial Sales track record, territory management experience, CRM system proficiency, and IT/Microsoft Office proficiency. Location: Wuhan, Hubei, China. Role involves in-person responsibilities in Wuhan with potential remote consideration for China-based operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or above, Polymer Materials and Engineering or chemical related major is preferred
- 2-3 years sales experience in a global company
- Fluent English both in written and oral
- Proven Adhesives or Tapes sales experience or a background in an Industrial Sales role with a proven track record of success in winning and retaining business
- Experience of managing a sales territory with multiple product lines
- Proficient in using CRM systems to manage sales territory
- IT literate and competent with the Microsoft office package
