Job Summary

Account Manager for UK Wealth Advisory sales in Edinburgh, responsible for telephone-based prospecting and opportunities activation, building advisor relationships to drive sales of BlackRock products (including Portfolio 360) and activation of product campaigns, handling inbound calls, and leveraging a tech-enabled engagement model. Requires knowledge of BlackRock products, market views, and portfolio analytics, plus CRM usage and strong communication skills to engage partners and manage pipelines within a hybrid in-office/remote setup.

Required Qualifications

  • Relevant track record in telephone-based sales, an equivalent B2B sales role or within business development
  • BA/BSc degree or equivalent experience
  • IMC qualification preferred, or willingness to obtain within six months
  • Strong sales acumen and ability to generate sales opportunities
  • Confident, persuasive, credible communication over the phone
  • Outstanding relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • Tech-fluency and CRM experience with portfolio analytics tools
  • Ability to learn and present complex investment solutions across fixed income, derivatives, alts, equities
  • Team-oriented with self-starter mindset
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model with in-office and remote work
