Job Summary
Account Manager for UK Wealth Advisory sales in Edinburgh, responsible for telephone-based prospecting and opportunities activation, building advisor relationships to drive sales of BlackRock products (including Portfolio 360) and activation of product campaigns, handling inbound calls, and leveraging a tech-enabled engagement model. Requires knowledge of BlackRock products, market views, and portfolio analytics, plus CRM usage and strong communication skills to engage partners and manage pipelines within a hybrid in-office/remote setup.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant track record in telephone-based sales, an equivalent B2B sales role or within business development
- BA/BSc degree or equivalent experience
- IMC qualification preferred, or willingness to obtain within six months
- Strong sales acumen and ability to generate sales opportunities
- Confident, persuasive, credible communication over the phone
- Outstanding relationship management and interpersonal skills
- Tech-fluency and CRM experience with portfolio analytics tools
- Ability to learn and present complex investment solutions across fixed income, derivatives, alts, equities
- Team-oriented with self-starter mindset
- Ability to work in a hybrid model with in-office and remote work
