Job Summary
Account Manager at C.R. England leads day-to-day oversight of customer accounts, including management of drivers, customer service, and office personnel. Responsible for exceeding customer expectations with logistics solutions, driving profitable growth with existing and non-dedicated clients, and growing third-party revenue. Manages budgets and P&L, prepares monthly forecasts, analyzes variances, and provides financial oversight for operations. Leads and develops staff, focuses on asset utilization and cost reduction, and ensures compliance with safety and delivery performance metrics. Requires extensive logistics/transportation leadership experience and the ability to manage multiple locations and direct reports, with strong communication and stakeholder collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 4 year degree preferred or equivalent on the job experience
- 10 years of logistics and/or transportation leadership experience
- 7+ years directing operations of at least $75 million in revenue annually
- Experience managing multiple client locations
- Experience managing multiple direct reports
- Proficient in English (written and spoken) and able to communicate with internal/external stakeholders
- Capable of working extended hours including weekends and various shifts
- Must be able to work at a desk with computer equipment
