Job Summary

Prospect, develop, and implement location strategies for transit organizations while maintaining a healthy pipeline of business growth opportunities. Leverage domain knowledge to build professional networks, present at trade shows, and articulate the value of Esri technology to identify key stakeholders and business drivers. Execute account management and sales processes, utilizing whiteboard sessions and visual storytelling to propose solutions that meet customer needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute account strategies, resolving issues and anticipating industry trends. Requires 2+ years of enterprise sales experience, 25-50% travel, and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in GIS or business administration. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience
  • Experience creating partnerships, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers
  • Understanding of account management, account planning and opportunity strategy creation
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Public Transit industry and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers
  • Able to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%
  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Desired Qualifications

  • Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and Public Transit industry they relate to one another
  • Experience managing the sales life cycle
  • General knowledge of data science or spatial analysis and how it is used for problem solving and uncovering patterns and trends within organizations
  • Knowledge of industry fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles
  • Master's degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field
