Job Summary
Contact customers with expired rental agreements to re-sell agreements and educate them rather than collect money. Oversee verification for new potential customers, present rental details, and handle payments via cash, card, or money order. Make persistent outbound calls to delinquent accounts while navigating references to re-establish communication. Occasionally manage field collections and de-installations, and identify opportunities to recapture past due business from returning customers. Maintain knowledge of the POS system and customer history while keeping the work area clean and stocked. Requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and experience with customer service, account management, and collections.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience with customer service, account management, and collections
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret rental agreements
- Ability to speak professionally and effectively to customers
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as late fees, discounts, and percentages
- Ability to apply understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
- Knowledge of industry standard software
- Must be proactive in managing accounts by remaining aware of individual customer pay schedule
- Must work with an appropriate level of autonomy to develop plans to keep delinquent accounts on track
- Must possess a valid driver license and have a clean driving record
- Must be able to lift to 30 lbs
