Account Manager/Territory Sales Rep

Job Summary
Prospect new customers, develop new accounts, and build a client base in North Central CT and Central MA. Maintain existing relationships, implement sound selling strategies, and coordinate recycling service logistics. Draft contractual documents, expedite customer complaint resolutions, and act as an expert in waste markets and service equipment. Strategize and execute long-term group marketing projects while pricing work according to service levels. Requires a current driver's license, own vehicle, and 5 years' outside sales experience. Base salary plus unlimited commission with an auto allowance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years' experience in outside sales
- Demonstrated clerical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Must have a current driver's license and own vehicle
- Ability to work independently and effectively with little supervision
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve
- Ability to understand current trends and competition in the marketplace
- Speak clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations
- Ability to listen and get clarification
- Must be organized with the ability to keep files and records for future business
