Account Manager

Manage products through their entire lifecycle until EOL while developing strategic sales goals to meet targets. Qualify leads and create target lists of enterprise or data center accounts, seeking potential customers through cold calling and follow-up visits. Participate in marketing activities such as trade shows to generate leads and strategically position Supermicro's products in the market. Develop customer relationships to expand existing accounts for retention and growth, working with cross-functional teams to draft and negotiate contracts. Negotiate sales pricing, monitor orders, facilitate credit issues, and handle sales returns. Requires a Bachelor's degree, one year of hands-on experience selling computer hardware to data center or enterprise accounts, and a proven track record of cold calling. Successful candidates must demonstrate strong pre-call planning, opportunity qualification, and objection handling skills.
