Job Summary
Account Manager / Specialty Account Manager focused on Rheumatology in the New York territory. Accountable for representing TAVNEOS to physicians and health care professionals, promoting product sales, and providing territory account management. Develops and executes a comprehensive territory business plan to achieve/exceed annual sales goals; coordinates between accounts and Amgen field teams to address access, pull-through, and reimbursement issues; educates healthcare professionals on disease state and site-of-care options; builds strong customer relationships and communicates activity and results to management; adheres to compliance policies and guidelines; supports patient services and market access teams; travels ~50% including some overnight/weekend commitments; expects proficiency in MS Office and strong written/verbal communication. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 3+ years of sales experience in pharma/biotech/medical devices or hospital sales (or an equivalent combination with alternative degrees and experience), and offers a salary range of approximately $145,311–$196,597 plus bonus and benefits. Flexible work models including remote arrangements where possible.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher or equivalent work experience
- 3 years of sales experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry or hospital sales experience OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work with cross-functional teams and manage accounts within a territory
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Travel approximately 50% (may vary by territory)
