Job Summary
Account Manager overseeing multiple client accounts and several job sites within a defined region for janitorial/cleaning services. Responsibilities include daily operations to meet company standards and KPIs, strategic account development, budget and financial compliance, supervising site management teams, performing routine facility inspections, driving site safety policy, interviewing, hiring and training new employees, resolving employee and customer issues, managing supplies and equipment, ensuring equipment functionality, assigning and inspecting work, ensuring timely safety trainings, tracking hours, and producing updated monthly reports on building conditions. Requires strong supervisory/management experience, technical aptitude in plant maintenance, and excellent communication skills; travel to sites within the region and ability to manage multi-site facilities under health and safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of supervisory/management experience or degree from a 4-year college or 2-year technical institute is preferred
- Associates degree with technical training in plant engineering, or factory/plant maintenance, Bachelors preferred
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive experience and responsibility in a maintenance field, two of which were holding a supervisory position
- Strong mechanical aptitudes, and a working knowledge of electrical, and mechanical systems
- Excellent trouble shooting and diagnostic skills
- Familiarity with all current health and safety regulations
- Requires strong supervisory skills, coupled with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be a self-starter who can work well with people at all levels
