Job Summary
Account Manager / Area Manager overseeing multiple customer accounts and site operations across several buildings. Responsible for daily operations, achieving KPIs, budget and financial compliance, supervising site management teams, conducting routine facility inspections, ensuring safety policy compliance, interviewing/hiring/training staff, resolving employee and customer issues, managing supplies and equipment, and generating monthly reports on building conditions. Requires strong supervisory and communication skills, experience in maintenance or facilities management, and knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of supervisory/management experience
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of progressive experience in a maintenance field, two of which were holding a supervisory position directing a multi-functional maintenance staff
- Excellent trouble shooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to define problems, and resolve them quickly
- Familiarity with all current health and safety regulations
- Requires strong supervisory skills, coupled with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work well with ever changing priorities and or situations
- Must be a self-starter who can work well with people at all levels both in and out of the plant
- Physical demands and work environment familiarity
