Job Summary
Account Manager SMB-Business Sales responsible for identifying and closing new business in the assigned territory, managing and growing existing accounts, and presenting multi-product software solutions (cloud, security, ISP, VoIP, Google platforms). Responsibilities include cold-calling, lead-generation campaigns, partner-selling, and social selling to develop leads, qualifying opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions to drive revenue. Key duties include building relationships with decision makers, presenting solutions, tracking progress in CRM (Salesforce), achieving sales targets, and navigating a mobile/field-based role with up to 50% travel; role emphasizes solution-selling, proactive relationship management, and collaboration with customers to solve business challenges. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or three+ years of relevant experience, ability to travel, strong communication and presentation skills, proficiency with CRM tools, and a self-directed, entrepreneurial mindset.

- Ability to implement feedback and tailor your approach for success
- Experience using CRM tools for sales process tracking
- Experience with cold-calling and prospecting (lead generation)
- Knowledge of Verizon Velocity Selling methodology (preferred)
- Experience in selling multi-product software solutions (cloud, security, ISP, VoIP, Google platforms)
- Experience with territory planning and closing deals in SMB segment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred for sales roles
- Travel within assigned geographic sales territory and willingness to travel up to 50%
