Job Summary
Account Manager SMB-Business Sales at Verizon: drive growth by prospecting and managing a territory, consult with customers to identify business challenges, and present multi-product solutions (Cloud, Security, ISP, VoIP, Google platforms) to achieve sales targets. Responsibilities include developing and qualifying leads, cold-calling, maintaining and growing the existing customer base, building relationships with key decision makers, presenting solutions, and tracking progress in CRM tools. Travel up to ~50% within the assigned territory; primary work from customer/field locations with occasional in-person training visits to Verizon sites. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of experience, 3+ years of relevant sales experience, and valid driver’s license; willingness to work in a mobile/multi-location field role with geographic mobility.
