Job Summary
Account Manager in Melbourne, VIC, taking ownership of a dynamic territory within Sealed Air’s Commercial Sales team. Build and nurture customer partnerships, identify new opportunities, and deliver value to clients while managing forecasts, pricing/margin initiatives, and ongoing product/program support. Responsibilities include developing new business from current and adjacent markets, planning objectives to maximize customer contact, maintaining records (CRM, price book, scorecards, product releases), supporting marketing and new product programs, coordinating training for customer personnel, presenting to customers, and ensuring equipment and materials run optimally. Requires demonstrated sales/account management experience, ability to travel interstate/overseas as needed, strong communication and planning skills, and proficiency with common business software (Office 365, Excel, Word, PowerPoint; SAP advantageous). Must have permanent Australian work rights.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated Sales experience
- Account Management and Business Development experience
- Protective packaging experience or familiarity with packaging materials/equipment
- Ability to travel interstate or overseas as required
- A valid driver’s license
- Permanent Australian work rights
