Job Summary
Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for customer relationships, driving growth and ensuring alignment across the organization. Responsible for managing assigned customer accounts, developing and executing pricing strategies, leading quotes and RFQs to secure new business, analyzing profitability and delivery performance, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure customer requirements are understood and executed across production and operations.
Required Qualifications
- Background in sales, account management, or customer-focused roles within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of pricing, quoting, and customer profitability drivers
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Experience with extrusion, fabrication, coatings, or similar industrial processes preferred
- Working knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement concepts
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
