Job Summary
Develop robust knowledge of all products and services while working with clients in the showroom to estimate projects and maximize sales opportunities. Gather job information details needed for operations to execute projects as specified, then update and maintain client marketing materials. Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them to ensure customer satisfaction exceeds expectations. Close sales and contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. This role is based out of the Mount Airy office but may require travel to Winston Salem and Roanoke, VA locations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- six months to one year related experience
- related training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- This position will be based out of our Mount Airy office
- may require travel at times to both our Winston Salem and/or Roanoke, VA location
