Job Summary
Sell dental instrumentation and infection prevention products to territory accounts including private practices, DSOs, and community health centers. Drive revenue and margin growth by developing strong business relationships, understanding customer needs, and negotiating favorable agreements. Evaluate account performance against established objectives, implementing strategies to ensure target achievement. Educate customers on technical value propositions and collaborate on meetings to drive sales outcomes. Design and monitor promotional programs to enhance growth opportunities within the assigned region. This remote-based customer-facing role requires a base in the Los Angeles metro area with 25-50% overnight travel. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and demonstrate success in an autonomous environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of work experience within the dental industry
- 8+ years of sales experience
- 1-3 years of direct sales experience
- 5 years consistently achieving sales targets
- Ability to accommodate a customary and regular travel schedule, including an overnight travel schedule, approximately 25-50% depending on territory
- Must occasionally work weekends
- Must have valid driver's license
- Means of transportation to make sales calls
- Proven ability to succeed in autonomous environment
Desired Qualifications
- Prior direct selling experience within implants, endodontics, orthodontics and/or medical device
- Experience and understanding of the Challenger Sales Model
- Familiarity with CRM software and account management tools
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
