Job Summary
Account Manager for Commercial Lines responsible for day-to-day servicing of the book, collaborating with clients and Sales Professionals to ensure satisfaction; review clients' coverage, exposures, and loss experience to analyze risk and determine product/service requirements; input and update claims and client information; assist with client inquiries and rush assignments; negotiate with insuring partners for risk transfer options; thoroughly document all communications with clients, carriers, and stakeholders; prepare and forward binders for renewals; manage client accounts receivable to ensure transactions align with guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of Commercial Lines experience, preferably from a brokerage or insurance company
- R.I.B.O license and/or working towards C.I.P or C.A.I.B designations is an asset
- Interpersonal, strong communication, and active listening skills
- Results-oriented mindset with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Proactive, self-motivated
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
