Job Summary
The Account Manager is responsible for providing professional service and insurance solutions to clients by processing insurance requests promptly and accurately. Key responsibilities include answering customer inquiries, utilizing sales and customer service skills to enhance client retention, and processing policy transactions according to procedures. Candidates are expected to maintain an active P&C license and increase insurance knowledge through continuing education. Essential skills include strong communication abilities, attention to detail, dependability, and experience in the insurance industry.
Required Qualifications
- Active P&C license
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Dependable, reliable, and punctual
- Strong call management skills
- Basic computer skills
- Prior insurance industry experience
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with insurance software and related systems
- Previous experience with or training in Microsoft Office products
- Experience with agency management systems, preferably Applied Epic
- Strong problem-solving skills
- ACSR and/or CISR designations preferred
