Job Summary
Personal Lines Account Manager is responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting clients with sales and servicing needs, processing new and renewal personal lines business, and maintaining carrier guidelines, underwriting requirements, and policy forms. Responsibilities include quoting, placement, and proposals for new and renewal business; conducting coverage reviews and recommending changes; assisting with cancellations/renewals; handling premium collection and reconciliation; issuing verification documents; liaison with company personnel; maintaining Agency Management System tasks; attending carrier trainings; supporting teammates; and ensuring security of client information.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years personal lines insurance sales and service experience
- High school diploma or GED
- NC Personal Lines or Property & Casualty License required (P&C preferred)
- NC Life and Health license optional
- Nonresident licensing may be required
- Attends insurance classes to increase understanding and satisfy CE requirements
- Excellent sales and customer service experience
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Time management and ability to prioritize
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); AMS360 and Agency Zoom knowledge preferred but not required
