Job Summary
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with target HCPs while delivering MLR-approved, education-focused messages and assigned therapeutic area disease-state information. Enhance HCP awareness of Sun Ophthalmics products, clinical data, and safety, equipping them with tools to teach patients about treatment gaps. Execute business plans to achieve call activity, adherence, and financial goals for the assigned territory. Build HCP knowledge and confidence in identifying treatment gaps across all domains. Requires a Bachelor's degree, two years of pharmaceutical sales experience, and domestic travel capability. Reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
- Ability to travel domestically as necessary, which may include overnight travel, majority of time will be spent in market
Desired Qualifications
- Two or more years of pharmaceutical sales experience or equivalent
- Two or more years of specialty pharmaceutical experience or equivalent, preferably in the assigned therapeutic area
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of healthcare institutions and commercial managed care
- Experience selling within healthcare institutions
- Eye Care/Ophthalmology experience
- Proficient at presenting detailed scientific subject matter in a clear and understandable fashion
- Strong and dependable leader who builds trust with their team
- Transparent, ethical, and honest
