Job Summary
Manage Northwest Europe accounts for Engineered Solutions and Polymer Solutions materials, driving volume, margin, and growth targets across PMMA, Compounding, ABS, PS, and SAN portfolios. Act as the primary commercial contact for strategic international key accounts, leading negotiations, contract execution, and forecasting while coordinating internal resources including supply chain and product management. Develop customer-specific strategies, identify value growth opportunities, and maintain accurate CRM data to ensure profitability and operational excellence. Represent the company at trade fairs and industry events to support market intelligence and business development.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree with strong commercial capabilities, or a Business/Commercial degree with a strong affinity for plastics, chemistry and industrial markets
- Minimum 10 years of experience within the chemical, plastics or related industries
- At least 5 years of experience in a commercial or sales role
- Proven track record in account management, business development and commercial negotiations
- Strong knowledge of plastics markets, applications and customer value chains
- Understanding of polymer materials, plastics processing and industrial manufacturing environments
- Excellent commercial, negotiation and business development skills
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal effectiveness
- Ability to manage complex customer situations and negotiate strategic agreements
- Strong analytical, planning and forecasting capabilities
- Customer-focused and results-oriented mindset
- Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Good financial and business acumen
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools and SalesForce
- Fluent in English and German
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region (approximately 50–60%)
