Job Summary
Conduct water treatment sales and maintenance services by identifying new accounts, servicing existing clients, and performing chemical testing, calibration, and equipment repairs. Manage daily schedules for sales calls and service visits across the assigned territory, including lead generation, cold calling, and appointment setting. Identify customer needs and implement customized solutions while maintaining accurate reporting for daily, weekly, and monthly activities. Perform physical work in HVAC, cooling tower, or boiler environments requiring climbing ladders, carrying heavy drums, and wearing protective gear. Requires valid driver's license, 3-5 years of sales experience, and 35% travel; base salary ranges from $60-70,000 with uncapped commissions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales with a proven successful track record
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and management skill
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with experience working on teams from multiple locations
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Knowledgeable in MS Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Knowledgeable in CRM software or related systems
- Knowledgeable in using a computer, tablet, smart phone, and other work related technology
- MUST be Highly Motivated and a Self-Starter
- Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record (DMV record will be checked)
- Ability to work flexible schedule, some weekends required depending on the servicing of accounts
- 35% travel required
- Must be able to climb and descend stairs and ladders (from 10-30' in height)
- Must be able to carry drums of chemicals weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to wear protective gear for the face, ears, and gloves
