Job Summary
Account Manager for National Accounts in our St. Louis (MO) office, responsible for managing the primary relationship between Wiese USA and named corporate accounts. Utilize consultative selling and leadership accessibility to establish Wiese as a trusted business partner, with objectives to maximize revenue, grow share of business, and optimize program profitability through analysis, financial and solutions selling, and cross-functional collaboration. Key duties include strategic account management, in-depth data analyses (fleet, cost, productivity, rental usage), building relationships across client hierarchies, multi-level selling, collaboration on client proposals/RFPs, internal coordination to maximize revenue, setting aggressive growth targets by location, proactive follow-through on commitments, and coordinating with marketing to optimize lead generation and sales support. Requires strong Excel-based analytics, ability to articulate business drivers and total cost of ownership, and travel about 25%.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a B2B, industrial sales or business development role.
- Advanced data and statistical analysis abilities.
- Ability to develop complex financial analyses and solutions with ability to explain logic and process effectively.
- Strong task prioritization skills.
- Proven history of ability to identify, create, manage, and communicate account specific KPIs.
- Ability to clearly articulate business drivers, understand key financial and total cost of ownership concepts.
- Overnight travel requirements of approximately 25%.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Superior data and statistical analysis abilities and prior experiences, including the ability to use Microsoft Excel, Minitab, Power BI, and other analysis tools.
