Job Summary
Account Manager for Steelforce in Central Queensland, responsible for driving profitable growth by developing new accounts, expanding existing contracts and delivering growth plans. Build and maintain relationships with mining and energy customers, promote core products and solutions, manage territory, execute call plans, and deliver quotes, tenders, and pricing strategies aligned with policy and customer needs. Maintain CRM data, develop customer/competitor profiles, collaborate with sourcing and supply chain to ensure product availability, and achieve budget targets. Required Qualifications
- Proven sales experience with a solid track record of achieving and exceeding targets
- Strong product and industry knowledge, ideally within steel, piping or similar distribution environments
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Highly results-driven with strong planning, reporting, and organizational capabilities
- Understanding of mining operations and customer needs within the sector
- Based in or willing to base in Mackay, Rockhampton, or Emerald (Central Queensland)
