Job Summary
Conduct daily leadership for a group of drivers, ensuring optimum asset utilization and cost control while growing the business. Manage, assign, and direct staff duties, including performance appraisals, hiring, and conflict resolution. Obtain proper loads, maintain trailer pools, and enforce operational policies. Provide accurate key factor reporting, analyze data to recommend network changes, and clearly communicate customer needs to all levels of the Maverick organization. Submit daily activity reports and utilize Lean Logistics concepts to improve services.
Required Qualifications
- Equivalent to a four-year college degree
- 12 to 18 months related experience
- 12 to 18 months of related management experience
- Prefer a broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc.
