Job Summary
Account Manager for Shield Commercial Insurance Services in the Northeast/Ohio Valley region. Drive expansion by proactively acquiring new clients and promoting Shield’s products. In-field engagement with potential and current agents (average 1 week per month with local/regional clients), plus calls, emails, and virtual meetings when not in the field. Visit 4 potential/new/current agents daily (3 days per week); maintain relationships, track activity in Salesforce, and identify cross-sell opportunities. Candidates should live in Ohio, West Virginia, Tennessee, Virginia, or Western Pennsylvania; role involves travel and regional oversight. Key responsibilities include agent development, relationship management, and cross-selling opportunities, supported by strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
Required Qualifications
- P&C license not required, but highly preferred
- Previous retail or wholesale experience
- Detail oriented with excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Demonstrate teamwork and the ability to support multiple individuals
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and possess great time management skills
- Willingness and ability to travel
