Job Summary
As an Account Manager at Vitalaire, you will be responsible for initiating, negotiating, and managing strategic contracts with hospital and outpatient pharmacies while leveraging your network within the pharmaceutical sector to establish collaborations for infusion services. Your role will be essential in securing contracts for innovative home infusion therapies, building and maintaining partnerships with key stakeholders, and leading the transition of infusion technology and care from hospital settings to patients' homes. You will manage the complete contracting process and drive the successful adoption of services through strategic alliances with healthcare providers.
Required Qualifications
- Completed bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a relevant commercial or medical field
- Proven experience as a Contract Manager or in a highly relevant role in contracting
- Experience in a medical wholesaler or pharmaceutical company
- Experience contracting with pharmacies (hospital and outpatient) is a strong plus
- Established professional network within hospital pharmacies is required
- Exceptional commercial insight and a proactive, persistent approach in generating new contracts and completing complex collaboration agreements
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills at all levels within hospital and home care organizations.
Desired Qualifications
- Expertise in infusion care, home healthcare delivery model, and Patient Support Programs (PSP)
- Excellent command of the Dutch language
- Knowledge of various infusion therapies
