Job Summary
Account Manager responsible for revenue generation and customer relationships within Equifax's EFX solutions portfolio; manages a full sales cycle from initial contact to close, including prospecting, discovery, proposals, negotiation, and renewals. Uses Salesforce CRM to track activity, forecast, and maintain governance. Engages with client economic buyers, decision makers, and influencers to deliver value through consultative selling of credit risk, data analytics, and fraud management solutions. Develops and maintains a strong pipeline, coordinates cross-functional resources to move opportunities forward, conducts customer business reviews and RFI/RFP responses, negotiates contracts, and plans account strategy for growth across the full portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and/or 5-7 years of related Sales experience
- Experience managing the full sales cycle from initial contact to close
- Demonstrated ability to conduct effective product demonstrations
- Maintaining accurate CRM data (Salesforce)
- Developing compelling proposals and value-based selling strategies
- Negotiating and closing small to mid-size deals
- Creating detailed account and territory plans
- Experience researching prospects to identify potential leads
- Ability to work in a complex matrixed environment
- Strong communication of value propositions to customers
- Experience executing renewals to maintain client relationships
- Industry vertical knowledge or experience preferred
