Job Summary
Conduct field promotional work to sell and develop new business while maintaining existing accounts in central Wisconsin counties. Demonstrate products, initiate proposals, and analyze customer applications to recommend material handling equipment and services. Make routine calls and visits, including cold outreach, to build relationships and arrange equipment demonstrations. Maintain customer databases, record sales calls and mileage, and submit monthly forecasts and lost order reports. Attend trade shows as required and assist in resolving customer problems.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Sales and Marketing
- four years in the same or similar industrial environment
- Demonstrated ability to develop solid business relationships
- Demonstrated ability to sell at a profitable level and meet goals
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to think ahead and plan over a one-year time span
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
- Expert knowledge of industrial powered equipment and our industry
- Strong computer proficiency
- Commitment to company vision and mission
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Must be able to frequently stand, walk, talk, listen, and use feet to operate machinery
- Must be able to frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must have close vision
- Must have distance vision
- Must have color vision
- Must have peripheral vision
- Must have depth perception
- Must have the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment whenever appropriate
- Must pass a satisfactory motor vehicle record check
- Must pass a satisfactory drug screen
