Job Summary
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive growth for a major pharmaceutical client, focusing on large capital equipment (CAPEX) opportunities within projects, laboratory buildouts, and facility expansions. Partner with the customer, vendors, and cross-functional teams to scope solutions, develop pricing strategies, and lead project planning while managing successful execution from initial engagement through implementation. Serve as the primary customer contact throughout the sales and project lifecycle, coordinating key resources, facilitating stakeholder communication, and ensuring successful project delivery. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 3 years of sales experience, and ability to travel up to 50%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of sales experience
- Technical knowledge and ability to understand customer applications and workflows
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated project management expertise, including experience coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, mitigating risks, and driving projects to successful completion
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships at all levels
- Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Analytical and strategic planning capabilities
- Results-oriented with demonstrated success in achieving sales targets
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory
- Fluency in English
