Job Summary
Service day-to-day client needs including fielding phone calls, emails, and other communications regarding coverage questions, policy changes, payments, and cancellations. Manage the execution of all aspects of the client renewal process, from obtaining updated information and negotiating terms to presenting renewal numbers and invoicing. Review quote documents to ensure insurance requirements are included, manage client relationships to ensure satisfaction, and delegate work to Associate Account Managers. Maintain relationships with underwriters to negotiate coverage and ensure proposal accuracy for binding and policy summaries. Use best practices and internal broker standards for service and maintenance of client files.
Required Qualifications
- High School or Equivalent
- P&C Insurance Producer License
- 5 + years as a Commercial Lines Account Manager
- 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Diploma
Desired Qualifications
- Four or more years insurance brokerage or property casualty insurance experience in account management role preferred
- Applied EPIC Agency Management System experience preferred but not required
