Job Summary

Account Manager I-III responsible for leading and managing all operational aspects of servicing and retaining clients, overseeing the transition of new business, ensuring consistent client satisfaction throughout the lifecycle from onboarding to renewal, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet client requirements. Duties include developing and maintaining client relationships, understanding client operating requirements and service levels, driving flawless implementations, managing onboarding and site visits, guiding the client through MedImpact systems and processes, tracking milestones with formal status updates, and identifying opportunities for service improvements and additional revenue. Must be able to educate clients on MedImpact systems, collaborate across business units, and demonstrate strong project-management, analytical, and communication skills. Travel up to 30% is required. Education: Bachelor's degree; Experience: 2+ years in account management or related client service in healthcare; PM/PMO experience required; familiarity with Medicaid, CMS regulations; proficiency with MS Office; Pharmacy or PBM background preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (Level I requires at least two (2) years account management or related client/customer service experience in healthcare
  • Level I requires project management/coordination experience; Level II requires four (4) years of account management or related client services experience and four (4) plus years PM/PC experience; Level III requires six (6) years of account management or related client services experience and six (6) plus years PM/PC experience
  • Experience with Medicaid, CMS, and other healthcare regulations
  • Domestic travel up to 30% of the time
  • Pharmacy Technician license or national certification desirable (Certificates, Licenses, Registrations) and MedImpact internal certifications within one year
