Job Summary
Account Manager I-III responsible for leading and managing all operational aspects of servicing and retaining clients, managing transitions of new business, ensuring client satisfaction through lifecycle from onboarding to renewal, coordinating with multiple internal teams, and driving additional revenue. Requires building and maintaining client relationships, understanding client operating requirements, leading implementations, monitoring service levels, documenting processes, and communicating effectively with internal partners and clients. Travel up to 30% may be required; roles span Levels I–III with corresponding experience and credential expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Level I requires Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Level I requires a minimum of two (2) years of account management or related client/customer service experience in a healthcare setting
- Level I requires a minimum of one (1) plus years’ experience with Project Management or Project Coordination
- Level I requires familiarity with healthcare related state and government regulations such as Medicaid, CMS, etc.
- Level II requires Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and a minimum of four (4) years of account management or related client services experience plus four (4) years’ experience with Project Management or Project Coordination
- Level III requires Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and a minimum of six (6) years of account management or related client services experience plus six (6) years’ experience with Project Management or Project Coordination
- Pharmacy Technician license or national certification desired; MedImpact internal certifications within one year of employment
