Job Summary
Account Manager I handles a book of insurance business, delivers professional client service to insureds, carrier representatives, and underwriters, and may work independently or with a Producer to support client advocacy, retention, and write new accounts or lines of coverage. Responsibilities include handling day-to-day client inquiries, renewal process management with information gathering, marketing, terms/pricing negotiation, and presenting renewal numbers; reviewing quotes for policy requirements, maintaining client files, producing proposals and binders, and coordinating invoicing. The role requires a High School or equivalent credential with a P&C license, 2-5 years of property casualty insurance account management experience, and strong customer service, communication, data-entry, and teamwork skills. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and experience with EPIC are valued. The position emphasizes servicing and relationship management within a collaborative HUB International environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalent
- P & C Insurance Producer License Required
- Three or more years insurance brokerage or property casualty insurance experience in account management role preferred
- Knowledge of EPIC Agency Management System preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook
- Strong data entry and organizational skills
