Job Summary
Account Manager for HVAC/R Contractors responsible for developing Contractor and End User relationships within the Northeast Territory, remote but based in the assigned territory, traveling up to 30%. Drives revenue growth by understanding customer needs, delivering value-based selling, and building long-term relationships across HVACR product and service offerings. Develops and maintains strategic account plans, earns preferred partner status, maintains frequent contact with key decision makers, identifies unmet needs, collaborates cross-functionally to ensure customer satisfaction, positions offerings against competitors, leverages market knowledge to position the company as the go-to provider for sustainable HVACR needs, and uses CRM and forecast processes to manage progress.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales and/or business development experience preferably in a technical field in primarily Industrial B2B environments
- Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or other business field
- Proven track record of success in meeting and/or exceeding growth targets
- Entrepreneurial approach to managing a territory, with a hunter mentality
- Demonstrates a commitment to integrity and quality in business
- Excellent initiative and interpersonal communications skills
- Effective cross-functional team player with an entrepreneurial mindset and results driven
